Balancing studio time and marketing

I’ve spent all day in the studio creating things I want to create. With a view to selling them at a fair. The day had ended and I’ve done no marketing. It takes an age to blog, tweet, insterest and pintogram.

A reminder to all artists that you have to spend at least 50% of your time marketing if you want to sell anything. However, it really hurts if you can’t get to be yourself and escape to the studio too.

How do successful artists do it I wonder?
